Ronnie Qi – Tai Chi
Ronnie Qi founded the Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization (AOPYO), with his friend D.L. Pos Ryant in 2013. The two friends had developed a powerful connection through the practice of Tai Chi. Located in downtown Denver, AOPYO provides a safe and unique environment for students and community members. Their journey began with a commitment to wellness, health, and fitness – culminating in the establishment of the brand as a way of life. Ronnie Q’s goal is to unify the community, and bring more knowledge about true wellness, health, and fitness. He believes energy is the key, and as long as we are educated about our energetic system and how it works we have a key to ourselves. We need to know the relevance of how all of that connects.

Giancarla (GC) Di’ Laura – Zumba
Originally from Lima Peru, GC Di Laura came with a tennis scholarship to play in Wichita State University. After tennis, she has always been interested in sports and wellness. She started as a Zumba Instructor back in 2008 in Houston, Texas. Since then, GC believes that dancing, movement and rhythm are key words in our daily lives. Breathing in a community gives the joy that keeps us together. She is the AOPYO Program Coordinator, APS Site Coordinator and Enrichment Program Facilitator. She loves to share the AOP principles and to empower youth and the community through wellness.
What to Bring
